What documents I will need to submit for Short-stay Schengen visa (C) at the embassy?


• Completed and signed application in the prescribed form, one recent passport photo 35x45 colorful, with white background.

• A valid travel document (containing at least 2 blank pages, issued within the previous 10 years, it is period of validity extending at least three months after the intended date of departure from the territory if the Member States).

• Valid health insurance, covering the duration of stay and its copy. The amount of medical insurance coverage – 30000 EUR.

• A return air-ticket reservation.

• An approved letter of invitation by the Migration Department of Lithuania for the alien to temporarily stay in the Republic of Lithuania.

• The available means of subsistence during the period of his stay in the Republic of Lithuania or their lawful origin, the available means to return to a state which the alien has the right to be admitted to (recommend showing not less than 3000 EUR for a short trip).

• Additional documents proving the purpose and conditions of the travel (business contracts, exhibition tickets, business plan and etc.).

• Consular fee (might vary app. EUR 60).


Additional documents in case of business visit:

• Company’s in India/other country registration certificate.

• Dispatch letter or permission statement from present employer.

• Company’s financial documents for the last one year.

 

• Additional documents proving the company’s activities, purpose and conditions of the visit (business contracts, exhibition tickets, business plan and etc.).
